Mobile Shearing · Castlemaine & Bendigo
25 YEARS ON
THE BOARD.
NOW ON YOUR
PADDOCK.
Thomos Mobile Shearing brings the full rig to you, sheep, alpacas and llamas shorn properly, right where they live. Teeth and feet done while I'm there too.
THE WORK
One shearer, one setup, however many animals you've got. A couple of pet sheep or a full paddock, it's all the same job.
Sheep Shearing
Full fleece off, clean and comfortable for the season ahead. Small hobby mobs welcome, no job too small.
Alpaca & Llama Shearing
Handled calmly and shorn properly, fibre off cleanly without stress on the animal.
Teeth & Feet
While the shearing gear's already set up, teeth and feet can be checked and trimmed at the same time.
Why hobby farmers call Thomos
Set up for small mobs, not just big sheds.
Most shearers are set up for the big commercial runs. Thomos Mobile Shearing is built around the hobby farm: a handful of sheep, a couple of alpacas, animals that are more pet than paddock stock.
-
Own mobile gearEverything needed turns up on the truck. No shed, no yards to organise beforehand.
-
25 years of experienceDecades on the board means your animals are handled properly, not rushed.
-
Small numbers are the normWhether it's two sheep or twenty, hobby shearing is the actual job, not an inconvenience.
-
More than just the fleeceTeeth and feet can be sorted in the same visit. One call, one day, done.
